Past History: Zeff was born into a medium sized pack. He grew into a large, strong wolf during his time in the pack. While he was growing up he was very close to many of his fellow pack members, but once he grew up, the alpha of the time felt threatened by Zeff’s size, charming personality and how well he got along with the other wolves. Do to this, the alpha was often harsh on him, purposefully giving him the lower ranking tasks. Zeff put up with it for several years without rebelling, until one day he snapped. Zeff challenged and attacked the Alpha. The fight was intense, but ended when Zeff stopped and left, his tail high in the air. Many wolves within the pack were irritated that the Alpha pushed Zeff, and were very disappointed that he left. Zeff became a loner, but was ill-suited to life outside of a pack, and has been looking for one ever since.
Personality: Zeff is an intelligent, strong male wolf. He has a friendly, yet steely disposition and can often come off as a bit intimidating as a first impression. To wolves who he does not know, he is very serious and somewhat aggressive, but to everyone in his pack he is usually sociable and witty. He has a slightly dry sense of humor and enjoys joking around and having fun with his fellow pack members. He is eager to try new things and rarely backs down from a challenge. Zeff has a sort of natural calm authority about him. While he is not constantly vying for the top spot within the pack, he is certainly not one to be pushed around and is generally well respected. He is occasionally a bit bossy, and can be snappish at times; though he does not do so out of maliciousness. Zeff has a competitive nature and it is important to him that he excels at what he does. He is talented in both hunting and fighting and makes for an all-around strong wolf. He is a loyal wolf and is very pack oriented. He does not think he could ever become a loner.

Roleplay Example:
Zeff strode farther and farther away from the group of wolves that stood gawking at him, the group that until a few moments ago he would have entitled his family. With each paw step he took, he became more aware of the choice he had just made and the weight of it that was beginning to fall on his shoulders like blocks of ice.
He held his head and dark grey tail high in the air as he walked, although wasn't feeling quite as resolute and dauntless as the façade that he had adopted displayed. He had never been without a pack before. It was clear that he would be able to take care of himself; he was a strong, perfectly capable wolf, but without his pack it was like someone had shaved off all his fur, leaving him cold and exposed.
Zeff straightened his posture and gazed at the expanse of forest before him, his mind still reeling over his fight with the alpha. As he replayed the scene in his mind, the misgiving that had been jabbing him in the ribs ever since he had whirled around and stalked away began to diminish. He had, had no choice; to continue to allow that flea-bag to shove him around would have been an insult to his honor.
Zeff was rapidly jolted away from his thoughts as he came to the familiar scent mark that represented the border of his territory. No, his former territory. He couldn't bear to chance a final glance behind him, to see if his mother was still barking for him to return. Instead he gingerly stepped over the boundary, and bounded into the fresh swath of forest, slowly preparing himself for his new life.
